变迁
札幌学院大学于第二次世界大战结束后第二年——1946年作为札幌文科专门学院萌芽。札幌文科专门学院时代确立的建学精神是“学习自由”、“独创性钻研”、“尊重个性”是本校的教育基石。这也是学院创立者们的志愿，他们希望通过在战后混乱环境和艰苦生活下满足年轻人依然如饥似渴的学习欲，培养出能够担负起战后社会复兴重任的新指导者。正是因为如此，本校为了打造北海道最早的文科类私立学校高等教育机构而开辟了属于自己风格的教育之路。 札幌学院大学创立以来的使命是：在“自律”、“人权”、“共生”、“协动”的理念下，为社会输送兼具丰富人格和专业应用能力的人才，广泛地为人类社会福祉献身，尤其是为北海道的产业、文化和福祉发展做贡献。

- Graduate School of Clinical Psychology (Master's Program in Clinical Psychology) established.

- Department of Accounting and Finance and Department of Business Administration established.

Educational Goals
