The standardized data collecting format
(SORD FORMAT)
SORD data archive collects following 5 items
with each survey case.
The floppy disks are to be formatted into MS-DOS or Macintosh style.
Copies of the questionnaire. Floppy disks are also available if the researchers have inputted them into computers.
Data files contain coded responses.if the researcher decides some variables not to be open, substitute them by blanks or other marks.
his data is basically recorded as text files, but permits another software files, like as Excel-book style.
Codebooks have to be made by either styles below, and recorded into floppy disks as text files.
The researchers are requested to explicitly show the relationships between questions and colunms, values and value labels.
jCodebooks must include Colunm Numbers, Question Numbers, Variable Labels, and Value Labels.
jCodebooks can be substituted with Syntax programs, Simple Statistics programs.
Question Numbers, Variable Labels and Value Labels must be included. Show the layouts and relationships of them by some papersD
