Career path after graduation
The Department of Child Development, where students can obtain an elementary school teacher’s license and a childcare license, offers an extensive practical curriculum that includes lectures on direct contact with children in the community and lessons on crafting that can be used in the classroom. In addition, the department has developed specific methods to prepare students for the national teaching examinations and public nursery teacher examinations. As a result, a majority of graduates find employment in organizations that work with children, including elementary schools, public nurseries, and childcare centers. Going forward, we plan to offer a training program for the social education qualification, and we expect this to lead to an increase in employment in the fields of social education and lifelong learning, as well as in jobs involving community development, such as local government positions.
