Career path after graduation
Students in this department, who study a balanced mix of liberal arts and specialized subjects, and who in recent years have actively participated in international exchange events, go on to apply the communication skills they have acquired in a wide range of fields. In particular, many of our graduates are active in the hotel, travel, and tourism sectors, as well as other service-related and manufacturing fields, drawing on their communication skills to connect people with each other. During their studies, students take the Eiken Test in Practical English Proficiency and the TOEIC®, as well as obtaining accreditation as Certified General Travel Services Managers at the Extension Center. Many students on the teaching program have entered the field of education, mainly teaching English at junior high and high schools, but some also work as teachers at special needs schools and others, after taking courses in the Department of Child Development, teach at elementary schools.
